Emerging Artists

Starting in 2023, the Cannon River Clay tour decided to invite young ceramic artists at the beginning of their careers to support, educate and encourage them and help us realize our goal of bringing new voices to our tour.

Larchill Farm, Connole Studio, and Eureka Pots are currently the three sites who participate in the Emerging Artists Program. Each host chooses and invites  2-3 emerging makers each year. The benefit is mutual. Emerging Artists are able to display and sell their work while helping stage the tour and interact with all of our established guest artists. Additionally, they gain experience selling their work, and learn from mentors about how to launch their practice in a professional direction.
