Chandra Debuse
Chandra DeBuse is a full time studio potter in Kansas City, Missouri. Her pottery incorporates narrative imagery, pattern and form to impart a sense of play. She studied ceramics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her MFA from the University of Florida in 2010.
DeBuse has completed artist residencies across the nation, including a year at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and short-term residencies at Red Lodge Clay Center and Watershed. Chandra was named an Emerging Artist during the 2012 NCECA Conference and will be a presenter at the Utilitarian Clay VII Symposium at Arrowmont in 2016. She is a founding member of Kansas City Urban Potters.
